Position Overview

The Operations & Marketing Intern will support the day-to-day coordination of food truck services, marketing campaigns, and client communications. This role provides hands-on experience in event operations, vendor management, and marketing within the food truck and catering industry.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Support

• Assist with scheduling food trucks for corporate and private events

• Help coordinate vendor requirements (menus, COIs, licenses, arrival times)

• Support client communications regarding event details and logistics

• Assist with updating service schedules and internal tracking sheets

• Help prepare event recap reports and performance summaries

Marketing Support

• Assist with marketing campaigns for events and vendor promotions

• Support social media content creation (posts, stories, basic engagement)

• Help create and organize marketing materials (flyers, menus, email content)

• Assist with maintaining brand consistency across platforms

• Capture photos and short videos at events when needed

Administrative Support

• Organize documents related to vendors, clients, and events

• Assist with data entry and reporting

• Support special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Hospitality, or related field

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Basic computer skills (Google Workspace, Excel/Sheets, email)

• Interest in events, food service, or hospitality

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools

• Social media experience (Instagram preferred)

• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset

• Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for events
